The structure of a traditional blog is not user-friendly

The structure of a traditional blog is paginated posts sorted chronologically by creation date, newest-first. This is (typically) not how anyone who uses the Internet navigates a website. Ordered by prevalence, a user will use

  1. a search engine,
  2. the search engine on a specific site, or
  3. the /tags page.

If you're creating a blog and/or digital garden, doing your own curation can help with discovery.
